BookHive is a web site designed for children ages birth through
twelve, their parents, teachers or anyone interested in reading
about children's books. Providing reader's advisory service,
this site contains hundreds of recommended book reviews in
a variety of reading levels and interest areas. Parents may
find special "parental notes" attached to some
reviews that provide additional information about the book.

Miami-Dade School Board
This site provides valuable information
for parents and students enrolled in Miami-Dade Schools. Parents
can meet the Superintendent and meet School Board members,
view the Academic and Testing Calendars, and find lots of resources
to become involved in your child’s education. Students can
create their own Student Portal where they can see their class
schedule, grades and access E-Textbooks.
FCAT Explorer Parent and Family Guide
The Parent and Family
Guide includes details about each of the practice programs
available in reading and math. In addition, you will find a
list of links to Florida Department of Education resources
to help you understand the FCAT, the Sunshine State Standards,
and your role in preparing your child for success. These materials
are available in Spanish and Haitian Creole as well.
