The Center of Knowledge and Learning hosts book discussions
and seminars on topics critical to succeeding in today's world.
In addition, a number of services are provided to students
to provide academic and college prep assistance. Current events
include:
- An Afternoon with… - meet, interact and
discuss books with their author
- After School Tutoring – intensive one-on-one
tutoring for youth of all ages who need a bit of extra
help
- College Trakker – guidance and assistance
for youth from the 7th grade to postgraduate level in applying
for college, transferring schools or getting into graduate
school.
As the Center of Knowledge and Learning grows, it is envisioned
that more educational opportunities will be offered. Focus
areas include social, academic, medical and economic seminars
and events. Classes currently in development, but not yet
offered include:

- Arts & Crafts for Little Hands
- Surviving the Subprime Storm
- Lawyers Love to Read
- My Neighbor Can Cook! Cooking Class
- I've Paid My Dues: Restoration of Civil Rights
- How to Catch a Number: Financial Freedom in the 21st
